Aloe Vera is inconspicuous and at first glance reminds you of a cactus. In fact, it is one of the lily plants. Aloe Vera is native to regions with extremely hot summer months, where there is often no rain for months, e.g. E.g.: Cuba, Mexico (Yucatan), Brazil, Africa and the Canary Islands. In order for the plant to survive, it has developed large moisture stores in its leaves.

Since 2001, LR has also discovered the extensive properties of aloe vera and produces high-quality aloe vera cosmetic products and nutritional supplements. Herbs, extracts and oils harmonise perfectly with the aloe vera gel, cleansing and nourishing the skin. Aloe Vera is cultivated using traditional farming methods without artificial soil fertilisation or the use of pesticides.

MANUFACTURING

Aloe Vera is grown on huge fields that are embedded in nature. LR sources the aloe vera leaf gel exclusively from a large highland plantation in Mexico that is involved in local social projects. The leaf gel is obtained in several careful individual steps:

1. Mechanical cleaning of each individual leaf in a water bath to wash off dirt and other residues from the leaf.
2. The green outer skin is carefully peeled away from the top and bottom of the leaf to extract the gel-like interior of the leaf.
3. The aloe vera leaf juice is obtained via filter presses and subsequent cleaning steps. The inner leaf gel is cleaned in a complex technical process. This is the only way to guarantee that the leaf gel is free of harmful aloin residues.

The production is carried out according to the criteria of the IASC (International Aloe Vera Science Council).

QUALITY

LR places the highest value on quality in all of its products. The aloe vera products are developed and manufactured with the aim of being the best. For this reason, we only use pure aloe vera leaf fillets - a prerequisite for the highest quality. We are also committed to careful processing so that the valuable ingredients are completely preserved - tested

and certified by the SGS Institut Fresenius. LR relies on high aloe vera gel concentrations in its products in order to set itself apart from the competition. This is supported by the annual certification and recertification of all LR products by the International Aloe Science Council (IASC). The success has been confirmed for years by the awarding of the coveted IASC seal.

In order to survive hot and dry weather conditions unscathed, aloe vera has the ability to store water and important nutrients in its leaves. Certified by IASC (International Aloe Science Council). The IASC is a scientific interest group dedicated to the dissemination and use of knowledge about the positive properties of the aloe vera plant. Based in Maryland (USA), the IASC offers the opportunity to certify aloe vera products according to strict standards in order to particularly emphasise their quality.
